Junior Accountant | Direct Hire
Pay: $60,000-$63,000 annually Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Hybrid Schedule (3 Days In Office)
We're seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a growing organization and support day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build their career in a collaborative environment with exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Support budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Utilize Excel and accounting software to manage financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Accounting experience or relevant internship experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
