Evaluating loan applications for risks and compliance, the full-time Jumbo Underwriter will validate income, asset, and collateral documents while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate loan applications for risks, accuracy, and completeness based on investor requirements
- Calculate qualifying income by analyzing tax returns and financial statements
- Review borrower profiles, credit reports, and income documentation to ensure compliance with investor guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- DE, SAR, or LAPP certifications are highly preferred
- 3+ years of experience with Jumbo products
- Minimum of 3 years' Non-Agency experience
- Experience with reviewing residential appraisals and compliance requirements
