Jr. Underwriter Training ProgramLaunch Your Career in Underwriting:Total Mortgage is looking for a highly motivated hard worker with aspirations of a career in underwriting to join our training program.Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in residential mortgage loan origination as a processor, loan officer, or loan officer assistant.Underwriting experience is not required, we will train the right individual. This is a full-time position and requires in-person presence in our Milford, CT office.
Only local candidates within commuting distance will be considered.What You'll Do:Learn how to underwrite conventional loans to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines including pre-approvalsReceive hands on training from experienced UnderwritersWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 5 years experience as residential mortgage processor, loan officer, or loan officer assistantStrong communication and customer service skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.Team player who can also work independently.Why Join Us?
