To support the administration and maintenance of Oracle databases in a remote capacity, the Journeyman Oracle OCI Database Administrator will manage provisioning, patching, security hardening, and troubleshooting for Oracle Database 19c/23c environments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Key responsibilities Provision and administer Oracle databases on OCI platforms, including Exadata Cloud Service and Autonomous Database Perform routine administration tasks such as cloning, patching, upgrades, and resource management for CDBs and PDBs Monitor database health and performance, and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, performance, and OCI resources Required qualifications Certification in DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+) 3-5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure preferred Working knowledge of Oracle Database 19c/23c and multitenant architecture Experience with Ansible for patching or infrastructure automation
