The starting pay is $57.59/hour. Georgia-Pacific offers a generous benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance with a HSA, short-term disability, 401k with employer match, 2 weeks paid vacation after 90 days, and opportunities to further your career.At Georgia-Pacific, you'll work with advanced process control systems, cutting-edge instrumentation, and high-speed manufacturing equipment that produces household brands trusted by millions, including Angel Soft®, Brawny®, Sparkle®, and Vanity Fair® .If you're passionate about troubleshooting complex systems, improving reliability, and making a real impact on production operations, we'd like to hear from you.What You Will DoPerforming preventive and predictive maintenance using advanced diagnostic equipment and testing toolsTroubleshooting and repairing industrial instrumentation, control systems, and process equipmentCalibrating, configuring, installing, and maintaining transmitters, control valves, actuators, analyzers, positioners, meters, and related instrumentationSupporting PLC and DCS troubleshooting to ensure efficient and reliable operationsInvestigating equipment failures and participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) effortsImplementing corrective actions that improve equipment reliability and minimize downtimeUpdating technical drawings, maintenance documentation, and work ordersMaintaining compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standardsPartnering with operations and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement initiativesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)High School Diploma or GEDPossession of an Oregon Electrician License of "Limited Energy Technician Class B" (LEB) or higher1 year or more of Journey level Instrument experienceExperience with PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)Experience working with DCS's (Distributed Control Systems)What Will Put You Ahead2 or more years of maintenance experience in an industrialized, manufacturing environment4 or more years of experience in the pulp and paper industryExperience in Industrial Process Controls (PLC, DCS, control valves, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, & temperature)At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
