Projects vary greatly in complexity and scale, so the ideal candidate will have the skills to build a home from the ground up or pitch in on simple projects if that's what is needed. Our Carpenters are well-rounded and able to work on multiple projects a week.

Responsibilities include:Perform all phases of residential carpentry work—interior and exterior—with precision and craftsmanshipSupport the Project Manager in delivering work to contract specifications and client expectationsSupervise and mentor carpenters as needed, providing guidance and feedbackCoordinate and inspect material deliveries for quality, accuracy, and timelinessEnsure job site safety, cleanliness, and security at all times, protecting client property and minimizing hazardsWhat You BringYou're a confident professional with excellent technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You have the right tools to do the job, a valid driver's license and a pickup truck with canopy, or utility type van.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamProven Journey-Level carpentry experience, including framing, drywall repair, window and door installation, trim, cabinetry, and interior/exterior finish workExperience with kitchen, bathroom, and general home remodeling and maintenanceAbility to plan work in advance, meet project timelines and budgets, and work independently with minimal supervisionSkilled in reading blueprints, interpreting detailed specifications, and applying construction mathProficient with tools, construction equipment, and technology used for research, learning, and communicationStrong problem-solving, diagnostic, and communication abilitiesPhysically capable of performing typical construction tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs unassistedBonus Points For:Familiarity with remodeling codes and building standardsExperience leading small teams or mentoring crewExperience in high-quality custom workCPR/First Aid/AED certification (we'll help you get it if needed)Final candidates will be submitted for a background check, motor vehicle records check and drug screen.Neil Kelly is an equal opportunity employer.
