The Field Organizer will help channel Josh's volunteer force and scale our campaign across Connecticut's 169 towns and municipalities.Core responsibilitiesActivate and engage volunteers to help reach voters across the stateExecute a high-volume voter contact program (door-to-door, phone, and text) to meet weekly identification, persuasion, and turnout goalsRecruit, train, and develop volunteers into leaders who can run their own phonebanks, canvasses, and outreach eventsIdentify leads for grassroots fundraising in coordination with the teamTrack, manage, and report on all volunteer and voter data using campaign tools ensuring data integrity and progress toward goalsWork closely with the full staff team to align organizing efforts with political, digital, and communications strategy, and deliver daily written updatesSupport broader campaign priorities as needed, including events and rapid-response organizing effortsWhat we value for this positionTireless work ethic and flexibility to work evenings and weekendsWillingness to travel extensively throughout Connecticut (with gas reimbursed)Strong communicator who can connect with a diverse range of volunteers, voters, and team membersExcellent time management and ability to work independently and collaborativelyCommitment to the values, vision, and goals of the campaign
