Envision has openings for full-time Emergency Physicians with our established physician-led team in Phoenix, AZ. Banner Goldfield is a great place for community medicine with patients who appreciate all you do!

Candidates must be EM residency trained or BC/BE ABEM/AOBEM.

Position Profile

• 19 ED beds, 10 inpatient beds (med/surg and PCU)
• 20,000 annual volume
  • Winter daily averages 65 pts/day (Peak January - March)
  • Summer averages 45 pts/day (Slower June - August)
• Single physician provider coverage
• Advanced Practice Provider Coverage 11am - 8pm
  • Shift times change to accommodate winter volumes
  • Flexing (Late arrival/Early release)
• No ICU beds
• CT and X-ray reads by radiology – No MRI
• US on call at night
• W2 status with comprehensive benefit package

Banner Goldfield Medical Center provides state-of-the-art, patient-centered care to the communities of Apache Junction and Gold Canyon. The 20-bed hospital offers emergency services, medical/surgical care, progressive care, surgery, imaging, pharmacy and lab services. Banner iCare™ provides 24-hour remote monitoring by physicians and nurses; iCare™ staff collaborate with on-site clinicians to deliver an added level of care for Banner Goldfield patients.
