Job Summary
The JJHS Head Wrestling Coach will be responsible for helping build and maintain the wrestling program which will include, but not limited to:
- Maintaining levels of competition
- Monitoring all athletes academic progress
- Following and enforcing established eligibility requirements of District 12
- Running individual practices to provide individual and team development
- Following team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents
- Following established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete
- Ensuring all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities
- Acting as a positive role model and maintains proper sportsmanship on the team at all times
- Maintaining an inventory of all equipment
- Attending professional development clinics/conferences specific to wrestling
