This role is responsible for programming and operating burn table equipment, ensuring high-quality production, maintaining tight tolerances, and leading operators within a fast-paced sheet metal manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong CNC plasma/laser experience, nesting software knowledge, and the ability to support workflow, quality, and production deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Program and operate CNC plasma and laser burn table equipmentReview blueprints, drawings, and bill of materials to determine material and equipment requirementsSet up machines and ensure parts are cut accurately and within required tolerancesMaintain and troubleshoot burn table equipment as neededUse forklifts and cranes to load and unload materials safelyPerform deburring and finishing work using hand and power toolsTrain and support operators across all skill levelsCoordinate workflow priorities with production and department leadershipAssist with department scheduling, productivity, and budget supportLead by example in safety, quality, and overall team performanceSupport performance feedback and employee development with Production ManagerQualifications:High school diploma or GED required5+ years of CNC plasma/laser programming and burn table operation experienceStrong experience with burn table programming and nesting software (Sigma Nest, Messer, Amada, or similar)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and bills of materialExperience maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards in manufacturingPrior leadership or lead operator experience preferredForklift certification requiredAutoCAD experience preferredStrong math, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWhy ANDRITZ?Competitive hourly pay: $32–$42/hourRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesLong-term career growth opportunitiesStrong team environment and leadership supportComprehensive benefits package401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, vision, and moreApply Today If you have strong CNC plasma/laser programming experience and are ready to step into a leadership role, we'd love to hear from you.
