Job opening of PLC AUTOMATION ENGINEER --- W-2 Position (On-site)

PLC Automation EngineerGreetings,Location: Day-1 Onsite at Durham, North Carolina (In-person Interview)Contract: W-2End Client: MetaImplemented by: HCLRoles and Responsibilities:Project Management Capability - concept, SOW, down selection of vendors (as needed), project milestones/management Knowledge of main PLC suppliers, ability to program in each, recommend which to use - push to standardize for site across equipment Ability to integrate components into existing equipment - integrating them (cameras, lasers, etc) into the PLC code. We currently have AB, Siemens, Mitsubishi PLCs on site META's goal to own source code - push for this to be standard in all purchased systems - not to be dependent on OEM Solid communication ability - concise, clear, reporting, meeting, ability to lead internal customers to a solid set of requirements, and understand how they want the system to operate for their teamExperiences:10+ years in Automation Engineering 3+ years managing integration projects 3+ years actual programming experience (with FPGA and C++)
