Electromechanical AssemblerLocation: Newark, DE, US, 19714 Business Unit: Process, Measurement & InspectionJob Summary: Performs assembly of sub-assemblies and inspection systems containing electronic, mechanical and inspection components by following work instructions, production drawings to required quality standard in line with the planned production schedule.Essential Functions:Sub-assembly and system assembly in line with Quality ISO 9001 proceduresContribute towards achieving the daily production plan.Follow work instructions & process sheets & communicate any deficiencies/ ambiguities in either to your line manager(supervisor)Maintain the working standards in line with operational organisation and the 5S policies.Ensure that all relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures are observed.Perform other duties and tasks as required by the business.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:A high level of attention to detail.Excellent manual dexterity.Basic understanding of Electrical principalsA flexible and proactive approach.The ability to respond to changes in demand and meet deadlines.The ability to produce assemblies following work instructions and to self-check own work.Ability to use electrical test equipment for example multi meters.Able to work in a fast-paced, lean environment.Experience in computer-based material control/business systems and excellent team skills.Highly organized, accurate and disciplined in maintaining an orderly work area.Ability to apply the principals of the 5 "S" methodology.Minimum education and work experience required:Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical/electrical aptitudeMust be able to distinguish colors.Ability to work with computer-based systems for data entryHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient in reading and writing in EnglishMinimum of two years related experienceCompensation:Employee Type: Hourly Currency: USD Salary Minimum: 35,000 Salary Maximum: 55,000 Incentive: No
