We are recognized as a leading manufacturer of brushed and brushless DC motors, stepper motor based linear actuators, precision Acme lead screw and anti-backlash nut assemblies, linear rail and guide systems, gearmotors, drives and complete custom automation sub-systems.We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm.

If you have experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines, that would be a plus. This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines in a safe and orderly manner while maximizing production output using efficient and effective methods. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. Payment and eligibility are subject to company policy and outlined at the time of offer.On any given day, your responsibilities would include:Operating multiple machines simultaneously while proactively keeping all machines in the department running.Making adjustments to assure dimension, tolerances, quality and highest accuracy of parts.Performing inspection of your parts and your co-workers' parts utilizing measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments.Performing minor editing of current programs.Following established procedures as well as quality and safety standards.Communicating delays and problems effectively and timely.You are a great fit if you have the following:High school degree or GEDEffective communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivationStrong problem solving skillsStrong understanding of machining practicesGood working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments1+ years of machining experience or a recent certificate in precision machining or related fieldAbility to work well within a team or independently and a demonstrated initiative to drive for resultsWhy should you join our team?
