Job Title: JIB AccountantThe JIB Accountant is responsible for supporting the company's joint interest billing accounting functions and ensures that expenditures are recorded within the framework of Talos Energy Inc.'s policies and procedures in compliance of applicable regulations.Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare monthly JIB entriesProcess owner correctionsProvide allocation schedules for the land departmentPerform monthly account reconciliations and analysisPrepare manual AR invoicesAssist with owner inquires and dispute resolutionAssist in reviewing, coding, and processing outside operated invoicesPrepare reports and analysis as neededEstablish and maintain effective work relationships with internal staff and outside operatorsAssist Department with other daily/monthly tasks as neededEducation & Experience:0-3 years of experience in the accounting/finance or oil and gas industryBachelor's degree in accounting or financeHigh school diplomaQualifications & Skills:Eager to learn, self-motivated and detail-orientedProficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, and WordFlexible with changing prioritiesAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team structureCertificates & Licenses:There are no certificates, licenses or registrations required for this position.Physical Requirements:Employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time and have use of arms and hands in repetitive motion.
