Senior Principal Systems AdministratorDay to day responsibilities will involve the direct support, administration, maintenance, and building of applications and system infrastructures.Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Director of IT Infrastructure and the Sr. Director of Technical ServicesManage production and pre-production systems in a hybrid cloud/data center environmentAutomate building systems and deploying applications.Create additional automation by scripting repetitive tasksManage and support Active Directory (Directory Services, DFS, DNS, GPO)Participate in strategic projectsMonitor productions systems, respond to and troubleshoot incidentsParticipate in a 24x7 on-call rotationQualifications:Experienced systems engineer who has 7+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 CORE and NANO operating systems.Windows Advanced TroubleshootingExperience scripting in PowerShellAdvanced knowledge with Microsoft Azure and O365 AdministrationExperience with VMware vSphere environmentExpert-level knowledge of Active Directory, including Group Policy creation and managementExperience with automated monitoring systems and technologies, SolarWinds Orion, VMware vRealizeStrong proficiency in managing DNS, DFS(R), DHCP, clusteringStrong proficiency in Hyper-VStrong proficiency in VMwareWell-rounded knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VMPLS, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls, etc.)DOCUMENTATION: VisioWell-rounded knowledge of iSCSI storage solutions (Dell MD, Pure) including the ability to provision and deploy LUNExcellent communication skills both written and verbal, flexibility in concepts and action, able to handle aggressive mission critical deadlinesLooks for any areas of improvement and suggests changes proactivelyTeam PlayerProject task managementWork well as a team PlayerBachelor's degree or Relevant hands-on experience requiredCCNA/CCNP preferredSharePoint preferred
