Had someone in this role through a fixed price contract, but the contractor passed away and the company couldn’t backfill it- Looked for over a year with no luck (seemingly). The need is really a JDA Developer/Admin to support the Blue Yonder WMS solution. Supporting the day to day operations of JDA blue yonder systems. – related to Warehouse manager- other teams are using the other Blue Yonder modules- pricing, cost, etc but this is all WMS.
Java, SQL, Mocha, understanding the serverside functionality of code- the standard run of the mill JDA Package of code. 80% support vs 20% Development. They will have a lot of visibility- 4 installations of Blue Yonder- 2 in KY (Hopkinsville), Richmond VA, Nashville, TNo This position will have some say in the footprint of where they take Blue Yonder WMS as they continue to expand its footprint.Required Skills: Several years of JDA Development (or Blue Yonder) Experience with JDA in the WMS (warehouse management space) Comfortable providing production support for JDA/Blue Yonder Supporting JDA/Blue Yonder in cloud environment is a major plus.
JDA is developed in Java- so will likely have java experience Basic Qualification: Supporting the day to day operations of their JDA/Blue Yonder systems within the WMS space. They had a Dev Team spinning up Blue Yonder/JDA in their environment- they have move on to other projects internally and now they need a Developer to support any issues that may arise with blue yonder/JDA and help with other new feature builds Working with other support staff. Resolving any problems within blue yonder, etc JDA/blue yonder developer A lot of support compared to development in this case
