Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies, along with proven experience leading development teams and making architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise Java applications.
  • Develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Define technical architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and improve application performance.
  • Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices.
  • Work with relational databases, messaging systems, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Support production deployments, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and ongoing application improvements.
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, reliability, scalability, and quality standards.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 or newer.
  • Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
  • Experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
  • Experience with Hibernate/JPA and SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, JVM fundamentals, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, and code-review tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or another enterprise cloud platform.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred. xhqgsiq
  • Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging/event-driven technologies is a plus.
