Primary Skills: Sybase ASE, Unix shell scripting, and Autosys scheduling (At least 6-10 years of experience in this area).
Additional Skills: Proficiency in Java, MQ, NDM, and C.
Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of Agency lending area or any Investment Banking domain is preferred.
Job Description
Candidate has to closely work with the client to understand the business functionality and should be able to interpret it into functional specifications.
Candidate should possess very good analytical skills and should be able to understand the process flow and troubleshoot the application process to determine the root cause of user-reported L3 issues.
She/He should be able to coordinate with various internal client teams to fulfill system upgrades and server migrations.
She/He should communicate with external clients to understand and establish various connectivity and data flow between the client and their downstream systems.
Candidate should have expertise in programming skills to work on the enhancements of the legacy system.
He/She should have an understanding of and experience in release management, including packaging, building, deploying, and handling configuration management tools.
Candidate may have to take the initiative in automation by learning client-proposed automation tools and applying/implementing them in the project.
Candidate has to work with the India team to coordinate on different tasks.
Those who have been involved in Sybase/Unix migration projects will be an added advantage.
