Java Fullstack Developer

RMantra Solutions is seeking to hire a Java Fullstack developer with expertise in Spring Boot for roles such as Full Stack Software Developer and Senior Java API Developer. Location: Ashburn, Virginia (Hybrid) will work onsite a couple of days weekly. Clearance: Must have either an active Department of Homeland Security (DHS) full Background Investigation (BI) or Top Secret or higher clearance. Will obtain a DHS Full BI clearance This position will involve working on mission-critical projects using Agile Scrum methodologies. This role entails 75% development in Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, code, and implement software applications, often using the Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• API and Microservices: Develop and design microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and sometimes mentor junior staff.
• Testing and Quality: Maintain high standards of software quality using best practices and automated testing, including tools like JUnit and Selenium.

Required Technical Skills

• Programming Languages & Frameworks: Strong knowledge of modern Java (version 8+) Spring Boot, and the broader Spring Framework (Cloud, Security, Data).
• Front-end Technologies: Experience in front-end development using technologies like Angular or React, Redux, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6).
• Databases: Experience interacting with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• DevOps Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira, and Confluence.
• Authentication: Hands-on experience with modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token (JWT)
