Contract
A Java Lead oversees the software development lifecycle, bridging the gap between high‑level business goals and technical execution. They design application architecture, write high‑quality code, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers while ensuring project deliverables are met on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide the architectural design of robust, scalable backend systems.
- Enforce coding standards and best practices and conduct thorough peer code reviews.
- Provide technical unblocking, coaching, and career guidance to junior developers.
- Work with product managers, QA teams, and DevOps to ship features.
- Help troubleshoot critical application issues and optimize system performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, and Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Extensive hands‑on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
