This is an 8 month contract opportunity with likely long term extensions.Company & Group Details of Java Developer:The Java/Kafka Developer will work with multiple business units to build and configure a new application that meets the needs of the integration project. This role will work with the project team for analysis and design, coding, configuration, testing and maintaining application performance.Responsibilities of Java/Kafka Developer:Work with the project team to design, build, and test applications.Participate in writing and testing test cases as part of System Testing.Coordinate with offshore developers and on site project teamParticipate in gathering requirements in preparation for development and configuration.Create and deliver design documentsRequirements for Java/Kafka Developer:4 Year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field5+ year of experience in development and support of JavaExperience writing and analyzing detailed designsRequired Skills: Java and Kafka experience.
