Java Full Stack EngineerWe are seeking a strong, hands-on engineer to join our Digital Modernization team.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Java-based API development, test automation, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), with practical exposure to Linux and container-based environments.This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level engineer who enjoys working across the full lifecycle from coding and testing to deployment and operational optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot and RDBMS technologies.Lead or contribute to implementation and deployment of digital modernization components across environments.Develop and maintain automated test suites using Java, Playwright, and ReadyAPI or similar tools.Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, and deployment workflows.Manage and troubleshoot deployments on Linux VMs and Red Hat OpenShift container platforms.Collaborate across teams to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance across product releases.Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and configuration management within modernization initiatives.Required Skills & Experience5–9 years of experience in software engineering with hands-on development and deployment background.Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL-based RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).Practical experience in test automation frameworks, including Playwright and ReadyAPI.Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Proficiency working in Linux environments, deploying solutions on OpenShift or Kubernetes.Strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, and integration layers.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting digital modernization or transformation programs in banking or financial services.Familiarity with Docker, Helm, or container orchestration frameworks.Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk).Strong analytical and collaboration skills in agile, cross-functional environments.
