Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 7‑10 years of professional experience to join our Messaging Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front‑end and back‑end development, with a particular emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Node.js, React, backend APIs, and Java technologies. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our messaging platform, ensuring high performance and platform responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using modern technologies and frameworks, with a focus on React for front‑end development and Node.js/Java/Spring for back‑end services.
- Create and manage robust RESTful APIs to support messaging functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with front‑end applications and third‑party services.
- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing applications, utilizing GCP services to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Work closely with product managers and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding and security standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Manage deployment processes on GCP and monitor application performance in production environments. Utilize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong portfolio of web applications and services.
- Proficiency in front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
- Strong experience with back‑end technologies, particularly Node.js and Java, for building scalable applications and RESTful APIs.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for application deployment and management.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
