Java Developer with Python and React Experience

Salary: $90,000 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, RESTful web services, React.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience using Python for application development, scripting, automation, or data processing
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development principles
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Experience writing unit tests and using test-driven or automated testing practices
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and accountability skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new technologies quickly, and maintain attention to detail and quality
• Understanding of secure and scalable application development
• Preferred: experience designing microservices; knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms; familiarity with CI/CD tools, NoSQL databases, messaging systems, OAuth2/JWT, monitoring and logging tools, application security, performance optimization, scalability, or Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Develop front-end applications and reusable UI components with React.js
• Use Python to create automation scripts, backend services, data-processing tools, or integrations
• Turn business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions
• Design and optimize databases, queries, and data models
• Connect applications with third-party services and internal systems
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, well-documented code
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve them promptly
• Participate in code reviews and advance engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and production releases
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to system architecture decisions
