Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with a background in Python for a fully remote, multiyear project. Candidates must have experience with Python on a professional level (more than just coursework). Experience/knowledge of Kafka is also required for this position. Project Details
In year 3 of a 5+ year modernization effort. Process of modernizing legacy system. Modernizing with Spring Boot, Camel, Kafka, and microservices architecture. Primary skill set will be JAVA with spring boot, python, angular, Kafka, camel. Python is used for in house algorithm work- need people with experience here.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
90% of time will be spent doing heads down coding. There is already a lead on the team- this resource will be reporting up to the lead. Not working with Angular yet but will be moving there soon. Moving from Oracle to MongoDB.
