Java Developer

12-18 month contract

Hybrid - Charlotte, NC - 3 days a week onsite

Rate: $60-65/hour W2

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable backend systems.
• Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and database technologies (SQL/Oracle and NoSQL).
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, and messaging.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift, containers, and CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and resolve production issues.
• Proven ability to take technical ownership and drive projects from design through deployment.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
• Banking experience is not required; candidates from any industry are welcome.

Nice to Have:

- React, Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript experience.
