To design and build high-performance, scalable systems, the full-time Java Backend Engineer will develop and maintain low-latency, high-availability backend services with a focus on RESTful API design and troubleshooting production issues in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems Debug production issues and maintain existing codebases Collaborate with the Bots & Automation team to build the next-generation bot runtime platform Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 7+ years of experience building successful production software systems Strong programming skills in Java Spring Boot with knowledge of multi-threading Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL) like Cassandra and MySQL Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications
