Java Backend Engineer in Bentonville, AR

Overview
Position Name: Java Backend Engineer. Location: Hybrid in Bentonville AR. Position Type: Full-time.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring / Spring Boot
* Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to design schemas and optimize queries
* Integrate third-party services and internal APIs
* Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
* Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
* Troubleshoot and debug production issues
* Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in Java (8+)
* Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
* Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
* Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA)
* Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
* Familiarity with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
* Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles
* Experience working in Agile environments
