Finance Director for Jake Levine for CongressJake Levine for Congress (CA-32) seeks a dynamic Finance Director for the 2026 election cycle! This is a fast-paced role involving management of personnel, strategy development and execution, and working with the Campaign Manager, candidate, and team to set, track, and meet lofty fundraising goals. This is a senior, full-time, salaried position located in Los Angeles, CA.

Jake is focused on making life affordable for all – starting with advancing a working economy for working people. That means increasing wages, expanding affordable housing, guaranteeing childcare, and driving more resources into the district.
A fourth?generation Angeleno and new dad, Jake served as Special Assistant to the President at the National Security Council, where he worked to confront the climate crisis and expand a clean energy economy– creating good jobs, improving public health, and driving economic growth. Here at home, Jake worked with Governor Newsom to build the California Climate Action Corps, putting thousands of Californians to work during the pandemic, and prior to that, helped craft landmark environmental laws. Having lost his home in last year's Palisade's fires, Jake has also worked with partner groups and fire survivors to help communities rebuild.Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive Finance PlanManage and execute high-yield call time program, including: rolodexing, donor research, hiring and training finance staffers, building lists, creating and maintaining reporting and follow-up structure, and staffing call timeSet weekly, monthly, and quarterly fundraising goals, and manage cash flowManage and execute a high-yield events program with fundraising teamWork with fundraising team and compliance to maintain accurate financial recordsDevelop and strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholdersOther responsibilities as needed or assignedRequired Skills:2+ cycles of campaign finance experience in a highly-competitive legislative or congressional campaign; in a senior finance role for at least one of those cyclesProficiency in NGP, G-Suite, Warchest, ActBlue, and call time softwareUnderstanding of FEC compliance laws and regulationsExperience managing finance plan, cash flow, call timeExperience with PAC and digital fundraisingStrong interpersonal skills, well-organized, and extremely detail-orientedProfessional demeanor and willingness to adapt to a changing environmentThrive in fast-past environments with irregular working hoursAccess to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver's license, and reliable vehicle.California campaign experience a big plusThe salary range for this position is $8,000-$10,000 per month, commensurate with experience.To apply: Please send your resume and three references to Include your full name and "Finance Director Application" in the subject line of the email.
