Job Description
The individual in this role will oversee project management and design for audio-visual technology projects at the university. They will manage the audio-visual design team and assess new and innovative technologies for use in academic learning spaces.
Minimum Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of the technical installation of digital audio visual systems.
- Considerable knowledge in the design, configuration, and support of media systems and technology equipment to include digitally, computer-based audio and video systems, with output from various sources.
- Working knowledge of interface of digital media equipment with computer technology.
- Working knowledge of desktop operating systems, networking concepts, and office applications.
- Working knowledge of control system programming.
- Working knowledge to troubleshoot complex audio, video, and control systems problems.
- Effective communications skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customers’ needs effectively and communicate options for problem resolution to customers.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with vendors and University community. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and set priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently apply technical judgment and skills to determine solutions.
