Description: Itinerant Special Needs/Instructional Aide
Posting Dates: September 22-28, 2026
Starting Time: 8:00am-3:30PM
Salary Range: Pay Grade - E/F
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain positive habits. Performance of duties effectively and productively. Maintain and upgrade skills. Receive callers and arrange for communications with appropriate person. Serve as fiscal clerk for school. Operate office equipment. Communicate, disseminate and place phone calls as directed by the principal. Initiate and complete periodic reports in cooperation with the principal. Collect lunch money, distribute tickets (if tickets are used.) 10. Complete lunch reports. 11. Type communications as directed by the principal. 12. Type and record school requisitions and orders and check against invoice on delivery. 13. Perform general clerical tasks and keep records. 14. Maintain the ledger for the General Fund, Lunch Program, and other funds utilizing approved bookkeeping methods. 15. Complete and submit payroll time sheets as required. 16. Maintain a log of visitors in the school. 17. Maintain a daily teacher attendance log. 18. Maintain positive public and employee relations. 19. Perform other job-related duties as required by the principal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent • Must pass the State Competency Test for this classification • Good communication skills, above average vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and mathematical skills, and be able to proficiently follow written and oral instructions. • Ability to compile and type complex materials and reports. • Demonstrate computer literacy/operation
