IT TechnicianPosition at Sumitomo Electric U.S.A. Holdings, Inc. Sumitomo Electric U.S.A. Holdings, Inc. (SEUHO), a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a full-time IT Technician in our Mt. Prospect, IL, location. This person will provide support on IT-related tasks and is part of the SEUHO-IS helpdesk. This person will report to the IT Supervisor.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in resolving hardware/software issues for end usersWork on IT projects as directed by managementAssist in technical upgrading and maintaining desktop systemsAssist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usageInstall hardware (computers, monitors, servers, UPS, routers, switches, etc.)Manage all equipment and perform periodic inventories as requiredTroubleshoot mobile devices, configure new devicesInstall and configure computer systems, phones, and applications within the companyQualificationsBS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldAccuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitaskEffectively present information and respond to questions from users and business partnersOrganizational and time management skills sufficient to independently establish priorities and coordinate and complete competing projects within set timeframesWork well independently as well as part of a teamThe base salary range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 hourly.
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location.
