IT Technical Support II | Part-Time

We're seeking an experienced IT Technical Support II professional to join a growing team on a part-time basis.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical support, troubleshooting user issues, and working closely with employees across the organization while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.

Schedule

• Start at approximately 3 days per week
• Initial training includes:
• A week consists of 2 shift onsite in San Diego and 1-2 remote shifts
• Opportunity to grow into fulltime contract shortly
• Hourly 30-45$

What You'll Do

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for end users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system issues
• Manage incident and service requests through a ticketing system
• Support users via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Escalate and resolve complex technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and support records
• Assist with system upgrades, process improvements, and IT projects
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation
• Help identify recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments and common business applications
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN concepts
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as ConnectWise, Jira, or Zendesk
• Familiarity with RMM tools such as Intune, ManageEngine, or ConnectWise RMM preferred
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with users at all levels
• A+ and/or Network+ certifications are a plus
