IT Technical Lead – Customer ApplicationsLocations: Mississauga, Ontario | Colorado Springs, CO | Wilmington, DE Employment Type: Permanent Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong architectural instincts, and the ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams while ensuring alignment with Agilent's IT standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Solution ArchitectureArchitect and implement Agilent's next-generation entitlement and license management system for software and services.Lead the end-to-end implementation of the licensing solution, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.Gain and maintain deep expertise in Agilent's B2B software licensing models and monetization frameworks.Develop best practices and drive adoption of the Licensing platform across business units.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with software product teams to define and optimize licensing and entitlement strategy for B2B post-sales monetization.Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure platform alignment with IT strategic objectives.Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed technical designs and solution documents.Platform Development & IntegrationDesign and implement customer-facing applications integrating entitlement management with backend ERP and enterprise IT platforms.Drive operational optimizations and troubleshoot real-time platform challenges.Implement backend services using Node.js, Python, or TypeScript.Cloud, Security & ComplianceDevelop solutions using key AWS services (API Gateway, IAM, storage, caching, etc.).Ensure platform compliance with data privacy and regulatory frameworks (PII, GDPR, CFR).Follow Agile SCRUM methodologies for iterative development.Communication & LeadershipLead and mentor medium-to-large engineering teams.Prepare architectural documentation and present to global stakeholders.Work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of experience with core computer science principles and enterprise-grade solution design.2+ years in a technical leadership role managing medium/large teams.Expertise in designing enterprise IT solutions (custom + off-the-shelf).Strong experience integrating applications with backend ERP systems.Experience building customer-facing applications (B2B preferred).Hands-on skills in backend scripting languages: Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.Strong cloud experience with AWS services, including access control, APIs, storage, and caching.Experience with compliance: PII, GDPR, CFR.Strong knowledge of Agile SCRUM development.Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Strong attention to detail, deadlines, and system performance optimization.Preferred / Nice-to-HaveExcellent storytelling and communication ability.Interest or experience in GenAI / Agentic AI tools.Skills & CertificationsB2B software licensingMonetization methodsNodeJS or PythonAWS servicesAgile SCRUM
