Handling day-to-day IT operations and security hygiene, the full-time remote IT Systems & Security Specialist will provide user support, manage endpoint lifecycle, and administer access management while ensuring compliance with frameworks such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC. Key responsibilities Provide Tier 1-2 helpdesk support for hardware, SaaS applications, and remote network connectivity Provision, patch, and maintain macOS and Windows endpoints using MDM, ensuring security standards are met Administer user accounts and access across cloud platforms under least-privilege principles Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT/security operations Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience Proficiency in macOS endpoint management via MDM and cloud IdP administration Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance Clear communication skills and discretion in handling sensitive data
