By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).Administer and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including endpoint protection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across the manufacturing plant.Oversee data backup, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity solutions.Manage and maintain manufacturing-specific IT systems, such as MES, SCADA, and IoT devices.Document IT systems, configurations, procedures, and create user guides.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration.Experience with network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls) and cybersecurity best practices.Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT) environments.Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.Bonus QualificationsExperience with SCADA or MES systems.Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.Experience with virtualization technologies in a production environment.Job Titles That Should ApplyIT Administrator, Systems Engineer, Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, IT Support Specialist, Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Senior Systems Administrator, IT Operations SpecialistWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
