This role is responsible for the administration, security, availability, and performance of servers, networks, cloud platforms, end-user systems, and business-critical applications.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure & Systems AdministrationAdminister and maintain Windows server infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systemsManage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, print services, and identity managementSupport Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra IDMonitor system health, capacity, performance, and uptime across all environmentsPerform server patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and system hardeningNetwork AdministrationSupport LAN/WAN connectivity across manufacturing and office locationsConfigure and maintain firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, VPN, and remote access solutionsTroubleshoot network performance issues impacting production or business operationsMaintain network documentation, diagrams, and standardsCybersecurity & ComplianceImplement security best practices, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and MFA policiesMonitor logs, alerts, and security eventsSupport cybersecurity audits, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planningEnsure systems comply with corporate security standards and industry best practicesManufacturing Systems SupportSupport ERP, MES, barcode scanning, label printing, shop floor PCs, handheld devices, and industrial workstationsPartner with operations teams to minimize downtime related to technology issuesSupport integrations between business applications, production equipment, and reporting platformsEnd User SupportThis is a hands-on roll.

Provide Tier 1 / 2 support while looking at solutions to prevent break fix incidentsProvide Tier 2/3 escalation support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheralsStandardize endpoint deployment and software managementCreate technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articlesAvailability for weekly on-call rotationsProject & Continuous ImprovementLead infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, cloud initiatives, and automation effortsIdentify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiencyWork with vendors, corporate IT resources, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutionsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience5+ years of systems administration experience in a mid-sized business or manufacturing environmentStrong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware/Hyper-V, backup systems, networking, and PowerShellExperience supporting ERP or manufacturing applicationsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skillsExperience in manufacturing or distribution environmentsExperience with Cisco Meraki, Unifi, Azure, Intune, SQL Server, and OT environmentsIndustry certifications such as Microsoft, Security+, CCNA, or VCPBackup software experience with Veeam, Kaseya using 3-2-1 methodologyFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
