By blending people-centric leadership with disciplined operational strategies and purpose-driven growth, Barry-Wehmiller has become a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Responsible for the day-to-day support of server operating systems and related software and hardware.Troubleshoots application and operating system problems.Document system configurations, and operational procedures to ensure standardized operating procedures and processes.Provides Level 2 support to the IT Service Desk team.Responsible for administration and support of on-premises Exchange as well as Exchange Online tenant including configuring mailbox access.Work with other IT team members to address resolve/acknowledge alerts generated by monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.Installs, configures, and decommissions servers following Server Lifecycle Provisioning processes. Schedules Server OS refreshes and upgrades.Support and maintain Windows and Azure Active Directory environmentsEvaluate system specifications and requirements to ensure hardware and software compatibility and security standards.Work with the network team to support and troubleshoot networking site related issuesWork with security team to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities reported by security tools managed and maintained by the IT Security team.Other duties as assignedJob SpecificationsCritical thinking and decision-making skills are required.Excellent written and oral communications skills requiredProficient in Windows Server and hypervisor technologies.Proficient in Windows and Azure Active DirectoryKnowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWSKnowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other networking conceptsAbility to work independentlyRequired Education and Experience1-3yrs of ExperienceAssociate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.Supervisory/ResponsibilityReports to the Converting & Paper Platform Infrastructure LeaderWork EnvironmentThis is an office position associated with a manufacturing facility.
