Systems AdministratorWestern Missouri Medical Center is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and maintain core IT infrastructure, cloud services, and security-related systems in a fast-paced healthcare environment.This role is responsible for administering and supporting a mix of on-premises and cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft 365, identity management, server infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and backup and recovery solutions. The position will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, security, and operational continuity.This is a hands-on role in a lean IT environment where team members are expected to operate across multiple technical domains and take ownership of assigned systems while supporting broader IT operations.Essential FunctionsAdminister and support Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure systemsPerform system configuration, maintenance, patching, and performance monitoring Support server builds, upgrades, and lifecycle managementAdminister Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Azure, and related cloud platformsSupport identity and access management processes including user provisioning and role-based accessAssist in maintaining secure configurations and access controlsAdminister and support backup and recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environmentsSupport and administer Cisco Telecommunications systems (Call Manager, Webex and related platforms)Troubleshoot telephony and communication system issuesCoordinate with vendors for support, maintenance, and upgradesSupport implementation and maintenance of security controls across systems and platformsEnsure systems are maintained in alignment with organizational security standards and HIPAA requirementsIdentify and escalate potential security risks or vulnerabilitiesEducation/Experience/Skill Requirements3 to 5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or related IT rolesExperience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and basic networking conceptsStrong troubleshooting skills across systems, infrastructure, and user environmentsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPhysical/Mental RequirementsMust be able to sit and stand intermittent 8 to 10 hours a day.Must be able to use standard office equipment, including the telephone and computer keyboard.Continuously works under pressure of near 100% accuracy while meeting inflexible deadlines.Continuously utilizes manual/bi-manual dexterity, near vision, speech, and hearing.Frequently stands, walks, sits and utilizes eye/hand coordination and color definition.Occasionally reaches above shoulder, regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs.Occasionally walks on uneven surfaces.
