IT Support TechnicianOur enterprise-level client is seeking to add an IT Support Technician to the team in Kihei, HI. Drug & Background required.Pay Rate = $20-23 w2 per hour plus benefitsFrom the client:Asset Disposal/Reclaim, Inventory Capture, Device Distribution, Floor walking, Cabling and general infrastructure knowledge. Technician will need to have basic knowledge of Win10/11 operating system. Ability to image a machine and package and ship devices once built for end users. Techs will work with the current Depot team and will be provided with space to work, tools and knowledge of the internal environment. Knowledge of BitLocker and backup process for windows is a plus. Lenovo hardware understanding will be very beneficial.Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide onsite support at a one-person site, backed by a remote team of 25+ peers for collaboration and training.
The role includes handling day-to-day IT support needs in a Windows environment, with a strong focus on hardware replacement, device imaging, and user support.Key Responsibilities:Provide deskside support for end users including IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activitiesReimage and deploy PCs as part of refresh or break/fix processesPerform hardware troubleshooting and replacement for desktops, laptops, and peripheralsSupport users with Office 365 applications and Windows OS issuesDocument incidents, service requests, and actions taken using ServiceNow or similar ITSM toolsCollaborate remotely with team members across other locations to resolve complex issuesPerform basic hands-and-feet network support: check switch power status, create console sessions as directedEnsure timely and professional communication with end users and team leadsTechnical Environment & Minimum Requirements:Strong experience supporting Windows desktop environmentsProven hands-on experience with Office 365 at the deskside levelBasic knowledge of device imaging, reimaging, and PC deployment best practicesExcellent problem-solving and customer service skillsNice to Have:Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systemsFamiliarity with Windows Autopilot deploymentsHands-and-feet network support (switch checks, console sessions)Certifications:Certifications such as A+, MCP, or ITIL are a plus but not requiredWhy Work with Merge IT?We don't just connect people with jobs, we connect top IT talent with game-changing opportunities at some of the biggest names in tech, finance, healthcare, and more.
