IT Support SpecialistThis is an on-site position. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the face of True West Beef when it comes to supporting employees and the internal technologies they leverage daily. You will work with the plant IT team to ensure that employees have a seamless technology experience at work.
If you enjoy helping people with technical issues, this is the career for you.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologiesLog and track calls using CA service desk and maintain historical records and related problem documentationDevelop reports using standard reporting toolsAssist in testing and documenting new applications developed in-houseAssist IT staff in developing and delivering various end-user training programsProvide assistance in maintaining accurate user and technical documentation for support systemsSetup and configure desktop PC's, printers and RF scannersProvide on-site maintenance for desktop PC's printers, and RF scannersParticipate as a member of 24×7 on-call support staffMaintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basisPerform other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to prioritize and work independentlyMust possess basic hardware and software troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documents related to IT technologyMust possess the ability to respond effectively to non-technical users and communicate with technology staff membersMust possess strong organizational skills with attention to detailMust possess the ability to handle multiple demands and prioritiesMust be able to communicate clearly and effectively on all user levelsMust possess a positive attitude and have a desire for continued learningEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience requiredAssociates Degree in an IT program preferred, or equivalent experienceExperience with physical, network and software securityExperience with maintaining routing networks, VLANs, and ACLs.OLAN experience preferredAdministering diverse operating systems like Windows and LinuxExperience with workflow analysis and improvementCome MEAT Us!We grew up here.
