Overview: Looking for a IT Support Engineer position with a local trading firm in the Chicago Loop! This person will be responsible for deploying new workstations, troubleshooting workstation issues and assisting in network and system maintenance. This is a tremendous opportunity to expand your IT and networking expertise in a hands-on environment with one of the best trading shops in the US!
This is a permanent direct-hire position that would be 5 days onsite in downtown Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Deploying new workstations
- Troubleshooting workstation issues
- Assisting in network and system maintenance
Qualifications
- 2-4+ Years of Help/Service Desk experience
- 2+ years of Linux Experience
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, IP Addressing etc.)
- Windows Experience is a bonus
