This role is responsible for providing strategic planning, analysis, and advisory support for large-scale IT initiatives and complex technical programs.ResponsibilitiesPerform strategic planning and analysis for large IT or technical projects, or significant segments of complex programsAnalyze and synthesize large data sets to inform strategic direction and decision-makingSupport the development and refinement of mission and vision statementsTranslate mission objectives into actionable strategic frameworks and initiativesAssist in defining organizational goals, priorities, and measurable outcomesProvide guidance in the development of operational plans aligned to strategic objectivesIdentify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and efficiency within IT programsCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technology strategyDevelop and present strategic recommendations, reports, and briefings to leadershipSupport long-term planning efforts, including roadmaps and future-state visioningQualificationsApproximately 8 years of experience in IT strategy, strategic planning, business analysis, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience analyzing large and complex data sets to support decision-makingExperience supporting enterprise-level or large-scale IT initiativesStrong understanding of strategic planning methodologies and frameworksAbility to translate high-level concepts into practical, executable plansExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadershipStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesEducationBachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Business, Public Administration, or a related fieldEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeCertification(s)Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)Project Management Professional (PMP)ITIL Foundation or higherRelevant strategic planning or enterprise architecture certificationsCompensationThe compensation range for this position is $152,000 - $160,000 per year.
Compensation will be discussed in greater detail with candidates who advance in the interview process, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of qualifications and alignment with role requirements.Compensation Disclaimer: The salary range provided for this position represents a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined at the Company's discretion based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and contract requirements. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.Location and Work HoursThis position supports a hybrid work schedule and requires regular on-site presence.Employees will be expected to report on-site several days per week, with the specific schedule determined in coordination with their Supervisor. As such, candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Boulder, Colorado. This position is not eligible for full-time remote work or for candidates located outside of the local commuting area.Standard working hours are based on a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. While some flexibility may be available, employees are generally expected to be available during core business hours of 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM MT.When working remotely, employees must have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable work environment that supports productivity and compliance with company policies.This position supports a hybrid work schedule, which means employees are authorized to alternate between on-site and telework days on a schedule agreed upon and approved by their Supervisor.
