Onetrust Technical SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced OneTrust Technical Specialist to support a strategic Privacy initiative on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in configuring and managing OneTrust workflows, supervising and supporting existing integrations, and developing new integrations using RESTful APIs.
The role requires strong development skills in C# and Python, clear communication, and a solid grasp of the full SDLC, including disciplined work tracking, testing, and documentation practices.The work spans multiple privacy workstreams: Universal Consent and Preference Management (UCPM), Data Subject Access Right Requests (DSAR), cookie management, and data scanning. Security and privacy must be embedded in every aspect of the work, from design through delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and manage OneTrust workflows across UCPM, DSAR, cookie management, and data scanning workstreamsSupervise and support existing OneTrust integrations, identifying gaps, resolving issues, and improving reliabilityAssist in architecting and developing integration solutions for vendor systems connecting to OneTrust, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standardsDesign, develop, and maintain integrations between OneTrust and internal/external systems using RESTful APIsWrite clean, well-structured C# and Python code to support integration logic, automation, and data handlingCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure integrations are secure, consistent, and aligned with enterprise architecture standardsEmbed privacy and security controls into all configuration and integration work, including proper handling of personal dataWrite and execute unit tests and support UAT to validate that configurations and integrations meet functional and privacy requirementsTrack all work in Azure DevOps (ADO), maintaining accurate task status and contributing to sprint activitiesProduce clear technical documentation including integration specifications, API documentation, configuration guides, and operational notesCommunicate technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders as needed
