Our Client a well known University is looking for a IT Specialist/Desktop Technician in their New York, New York location
- Install, modify, clean and repair monitors, keyboards, mice, central processing units, printers and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot problems and provide technical support for software and hardware.
- Manage upgrades in software and hardware.
- Field telephone calls and e-mail messages from users who are seeking guidance on technical problems.
- Assist with the maintenance and update of the Center's IT inventory of computers and peripherals.
- Test desktops and laptops and provide feedback to the manufacturers.
- Evaluate software programs with regard to their usefulness.
- Assist in audio visual/remote conference setup as needed.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
