The State Commission Corporation is seeking an IT Sourcing Consultant to lead the sourcing process, develop and execute sourcing strategies, and support IT business problem solving within the Sourcing and Supplier Management Team.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing a variety of sourcing projects, including complex information technology contracts from initial request to executed contract.
• Must have ability to multi-task, work with all levels of staff, have superior customer service skills and exceptional communication skills both verbally and written.
• Has responsibility for managing customer expectations for project deliverables through effective and timely communications. Conducts a post-project lessons learned reviews with the customers to promote knowledge transfer and customer satisfaction.
• Leads evaluation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and establishes solid contracts that are in the long-term best interest of the customer.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in managing complex work efforts.
• Deep industry experience (with Procurement and Supplier Management).
• Experience with contract and vendor negotiations.
• Technical writing experience.
• Requirements gathering experience.
• Knowledge of VA Public Procurement Laws.

Location: 1300 E Main Street, Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Status: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $100K-110K per annum with benefits
