Project ManagerVertiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for complex projects with global, enterprise-wide impact within the IT Digital Transformation organization. The IT Project Manager will lead and deliver complex technology initiatives focused on transforming IT and business through process efficiencies, data and AI. They will manage successful completion of projects and programs, ensuring that key objectives are achieved on time and on budget. This role requires strong leadership skills to navigate cross-functional teams, and communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills to drive accountability at all levels.This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - HQ location.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional, global IT projects from initiation through deliveryAccountable for planning and execution tasks, including, but not limited to, scope, scheduling, budgeting, resource, risk and issue management.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, clear effective status reports, RAID logs, and executive dashboardsFacilitate project governance, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communicationsPartner with business and IT leaders to align project objectives with organizational strategyDrive cross-functional collaboration across infrastructure, applications, security, and business teamsIdentify, escalate, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactivelyProactively engages stakeholders, providing timely, relevant, and transparent project status.Produce executive-level program updates as necessary.Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks, change management processes, and compliance requirementsContribute to PMO best practices and continuous improvementSupport portfolio-level reporting and resource capacity planningRequirements7–10+ years of progressive IT project and/or program management experienceBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects (e.g.

digital transformation, software development, system implementation, ERP, cloud, enterprise applications)Strong proficiency in project management methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approachesExperience with project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing prioritiesExcellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills — written and verbalStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExperience managing multimillion dollar project budgetsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Highly motivated self-starter who can initiate action and follow through with well-defined solutions and action plans.Preferred Requirements:PMP certification (Project Management Professional), Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)Familiarity with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) or similar enterprise PPM platformsExperience in global or matrixed organizationsBackground in ERP, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation programsStrong knowledge of Software Development Lifecyle process.Excellent presentation skills; can adjust presentation to the audience level. Comfortable presenting to small and large groups at all levels of the organization.Exceptional interpersonal skills.
