Project ManagerWe are currently recruiting for a Project Manager under the IMCOM DFMWR Technology Services' project. This role involves leading efforts in cybersecurity engineering and IT project management, with particular emphasis on the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The position plays a crucial part in supporting the Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) mission, a key component in maintaining the welfare of Soldiers and Families across numerous garrisons and FMWR facilities. As a Project Manager, you will be tasked with comprehensive management and oversight of various IT projects. This includes ensuring that all activities are in strict alignment with the requirements of the FUNDS IT systems.

A significant aspect of your role will be to ensure full compliance with government standards and policies, particularly those related to cybersecurity and the Risk Management Framework. Your role involves managing, coordinating, and supervising a range of functions from technical support to project execution, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.This position requires demonstrated experience managing projects, including planning, execution, scheduling, and resource coordination in IT project management, particularly in environments that require adherence to strict cybersecurity protocols and compliance frameworks. As part of the application process, you agree that TekSynap Corporation may retain and use your name, e-mail, and contact information for purposes related to employment consideration.Responsibilities & QualificationsAccountable for end-to-end management of cybersecurity and IT projects within a framework, ensuring alignment with RMF and other compliance frameworks.Manages IT project milestones and expectations.Creates functional and technical documentation.Ensures project disciplines are followed.Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and resources aspects of the project.Coordinates and leads assigned projects and ensures effective communication with all stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative.Ensures strict adherence to the contract's requirements, focusing on compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.Manages assigned project deliverables, performance metrics, and reporting as per contract specifications.5 years' experience in Project Management with Army or other DoW Organizations.Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) policies, directives, and regulatory guidance in the cybersecurity field.Knowledge and experience with technologies such as cloud computing environments, cybersecurity infrastructure, forensic analytics, and DoW Public Key Infrastructure.Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams consisting of cybersecurity engineers, system administrators, developers, vendors, and government stakeholdersDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables within a Federal or DoW environmentDemonstrated ability to identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation activitiesDemonstrated experience preparing and presenting project status updates, executive briefings, and performance metrics to senior leadership and government customersKnowledge of DoW hosting environments, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architecturesProgram Management Professional (PMP).Familiarity with Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) and RMF workflow toolsDemonstrated ability to translate security policies, implementation guidance, and requirements into effective cybersecurity engineering solutionsExperience with Information Technology (IT) project management in a government or military setting with an emphasis on cybersecurity and compliance projectsAdditional Job InformationLocation: JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TXType of environment: VariesNoise level: LowWork schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday – Friday. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
