Position Overview
A confidential employer is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead software, application, integration, and data-related projects. This role requires strong project leadership, experience working with cross-functional technical teams, and a working knowledge of SQL.
Responsibilities
* Manage projects from planning through implementation and delivery.
* Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and success criteria.
* Coordinate developers, QA, product owners, business stakeholders, and vendors.
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project status meetings.
* Track deliverables, dependencies, and risks, escalating issues when necessary.
* Use basic to intermediate SQL to review data, validate reports, and investigate application issues.
* Coordinate integrations involving APIs, databases, data pipelines, and enterprise applications.
* Improve project delivery processes and team communication.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Three to five years of experience managing software or application development projects.
* Working knowledge of SQL, including basic queries, joins, and filters.
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project delivery.
* Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
* Experience with Jira or a similar project management platform.
* Strong planning, communication, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience with databases, system integrations, or data platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD practices, BI projects, or SaaS environments is preferred. PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
