IT Project Manager

What will your role be?

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate IT transformation and migration projects within a complex industrial environment. This role is responsible for planning and executing transitions from existing systems and processes to new solutions while minimizing operational disruptions.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with functional knowledge of IT systems, software, and business workflows. They will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and operational personnel to drive project execution, manage risks, and ensure alignment across all phases of the transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, technical, and operational functions to ensure effective project execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.
• Monitor project progress against established milestones, deliverables, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage resource allocation, cost tracking, and project expenditures to maintain budgetary control and avoid resource constraints.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders through regular reporting and project updates.
• Adapt project plans to accommodate changing requirements, emerging challenges, and evolving business priorities.
• Support the successful transition to new systems and processes while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally involving IT implementations, systems transitions, migrations, or technology deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, timelines, and cross-functional resources.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with project planning, tracking, reporting, and budget management tools.
